Making inventory adjustments

Make manual adjustments to inventory stock levels in Breadstack.

Breadstack logs changes to the stock levels of products you're tracking in the Inventory module, but you can also make manual adjustments.

Note: If your store is on Cova, you'll need to manage inventory in the Cova platform.

Make a new adjustment

  1. Go to Inventory > Adjustments and click + Add New Adjustment in the upper right corner.
  2. In Search Product, start typing to find the name of the product you want to adjust.
  3. Under Adjust Product Qty. Type, choose whether you want to adjust your available or reserved supply.
  4. Under Adjust Type, choose either
    • Edit/Correction - Choosing this will allow you to select from the following options in the Adjust Reason dropdown. These represent increases (+) or decreases (-)  or both (-/+) to stock levels:
      • Damaged (-)
      • Defective (-)
      • Missing (-)
      • Stocktake (-/+)
      • Promotion (-)
    • Production - Choosing this will allow you to select from the following options in the Adjust Reason dropdown:
      • New Production (+)
      • Purchase Order (+)
      • Return (+)
  5. Select the Quantity to adjust. 
  6. Click Save. You'll see the adjustment logged in the Inventory > Adjustments list.
