Learn how to manually create an account for a new customer.
Breadstack automatically logs information about customers when they provide an email address (either in person at a physical store, or while creating an online store account).
However, you can manually create a new account for a customer in the Customers module. For instructions, check out this video or follow the steps underneath.
- Go to Customers > Add New Customer. (Alternatively, click +Add New Customer at the top right of the All Customers page.)
- Fill out the customer's information. Note that you won't be able to change the customer's username once the account has been created.
- If you want to assign loyalty points to this customer, enter a points value under Starting Points.
- Click Save.
You can remove a customer account if needed.
Note: When customers are added manually, they are assigned the "Online Only" customer status by default.
